“This letter serves as our reference and recommendation for using TM Grady Builders (TMGB) on your future home construction project. My wife and I recently concluded our construction project with Tim Grady and his firm. This was the first time we had ever built a house. TMGB was referred to us through our architect, Brion Jennette. We knew, due to Brion’s reputation, that TMGB was well regarded in the local custom home building industry. He was very good in the beginning in spelling out his approach to doing the work, his cost structure, his way of working with clients, and his usage of quality subcontractors.
We were not disappointed in our selection. We saw some of his prior work and could see the quality TMGB built in. We too received this same quality. The highest standards in materials, and selection of subcontractors was there through the whole project. TMGB formed an excellent partnership with our architect and interior designers. This combination resulted in us getting exactly what we wanted on cost and schedule.
Tim and his employees always went the extra mile and showed great patience in guiding us through this experience. He would explain very well why things were scheduled as they were and very diplomatically pushed us to make decisions in order to stay on schedule. He also did the same where cost trades could be made.
Our job was a complex integration of some existing structure on the waterfront. TMGB worked very well with the city and other agencies to make sure we got all approvals on time.
TMGB worked very well with our neighbors to keep us all in harmony. This was particularly important because our job was quite invasive into our neighbor’s yard.
Tim assigned an outstanding project manager to plan & oversee our construction. He is a true construction professional and knows how to work with clients. A great listener. He always follows through with actions and assignments. We heard from several subcontractors how good he is to work with from their side too. He kept the job site clean and always handled any issue in a very timely and quality way.
In our opinion we could not imagine a better relationship with a building contractor than we had with TMGB. Given the sizable investment involved, trust is the ultimate guiding factor. TMGB had and will have our trust going forward.
We now live in the home and have had very few issues. And those we have had have been worked very quickly. We highly recommend T.M. Grady Builders. You won’t find anyone better.”
